JavaScript WTF!? is a leisure coding-class for those who want an introduction and prefer humans to online-classes. Using real-life examples and props, we want you to have fun while getting smarter.

Week 01


You will be able to understand JavaScript’s role in the bigger context of web development and how it works alongside HTML and CSS when rendering a website.

Join a class

Each class consists of a maximum of 8 people to keep it personal and easy to help everyone who may get stuck. New classes get kicked off regularily - stay up to date with our sign-up list.

Stalk the teacher

Valerie has been working as full-time developer at Your Majesty for 1.5 years. Most days she is involved in projects built with JavaScript or JavaScript libraries like React and Node.js. Your Majesty is a full-service design and technology firm that creates brand and product experiences for clients such as Samsung, Airbnb, and adidas.

Being a self-taught developer Valerie enjoys sharing her knowledge and helping other code-enthusiasts on their learning journey. Early 2018 she launched her own Meet-up series Cafe Robot which is targeted towards code-newbies in Amsterdam and offers a platform to connect and discuss. She has also been a Meet-up speaker for Girl Code and Contentful as well as an Industry Mentor for Digital School Hyper Island.
